Our Country remains under a national emergency due to COVID-19 . For weekly recorded sermons, click here
President Trump declared the COVID-19 pandemic a national emergency. NC Governor Roy Cooper called for the cancellation or postponement of gatherings of more than 10 people due to the corona-virus. The pastoral staff is most concerned with the health and well-being of all. We urge each one to do all you can to reduce the risk of infection.
Recommendations are (1) wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If you blow your nose or cough or sneeze, wash your hands. Throw used tissues in the trash immediately. (2) If soap and water is not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. (3) Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. (4) Avoid close contact with people who are sick. (4) Put distance between yourself and other people. (5) Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care. For more information go to cdc.gov.
Be assured that we know GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL. As we have made changes to comply with the “safer at home” rules, we are returning to the sanctuary. We understand there are still those considered “at risk” and are uncomfortable returning to Church services at this time. Members will be contacted weekly regarding available options for joining the morning worship service.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are temporary/transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
Our services are either in-house, teleconference call or ZOOM. Members are contacted on a weekly basis. If you are unaware of the service medium, please contact one of the Deacons. Thank you. Stay Safe.
