What’s In Your Pile!

Psalm 39:4-6: “ “Tell me, what’s going on, God? How long do I have to live? Give me the bad news! You’ve kept me on pretty short rations; my life is string too short to be saved. Oh! we’re all puffs of air. Oh! we’re all shadows in a campfire. Oh! we’re just spit in the wind. We make our pile, and then we leave it.” MSG Bible Translation

I encourage you to read the KJV and/or NASB. Life is short! God has given us the gift of time. We can waste it on acquiring material things that are temporary or we can focus on getting our pile [life] in order for eternal life. When you look into your pile everything you have done or desire to do ought to be done with the intention of pleasing God. In your pile look for that Green Light–Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:16) because you can’t get to the Father (eternal life) except through Him. What’s in your pile? Look in your pile: We all start going down SIN ALLEY*; but God gives you time to make that U-turn to the right and get on REPENTANCE ROAD*. Keep your hand in the Master’s hand and you will travel Grace Blvd.* and Forgiveness Lane*, ultimately walking up the KING’S HIGHWAY to VICTORY STREET.*

You make your pile and then you leave it. You come into this world and you die and leave this world. Clean-up your pile! Will your pile (your life) be a mess that doesn’t benefit anyone or will your pile (your life) be the light that shines, glorifying God and leading others to Christ? It’s your choice…make it now while you still have God’s gift of TIME.
