KEEP IT MOVING

Many times, when we pray, we want God to give us an immediate answer. And sometimes God wants you to step out on faith before He acts. The Word of God tells us “now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” [Hebrews 11:11]. Many times, the Israelites had to move by faith. I’m reminded of the Israelites at the Red Sea. Exodus 14: The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you keep calling out to me for help? Tell the Israelites to move forward. 16 Then hold your walking stick over the sea. The water will open up and make a road where they can walk through on dry ground.” {CEV}

          God told Moses to tell the Israelites to move forward FIRST. It was after they put their feet in the water that Moses held up the walking stick and the water parted. When you find yourself in a situation that seems impossible, you got to keep it moving. Don’t waste your time worrying about something in the past or situations you can’t control. Pray about it, trust God and move forward. Make the best of a troublesome situation and keep it moving. Sometimes the decision you want to make to get the outcome you desire is not the decision that allows you to move forward. Decisions have consequences but move past negativity, bitterness, meanness, conflict. God desires you to have peace, love and joy. Keep it moving…you may think you are waiting on God but in reality, God is waiting on you. Move forward!

    The church website is wonderful. I really enjoyed reflecting back on the church history. The site is easy to maneuver.
